They're getting married in the morning..

..well that's not completely true our friends Andy and Vic actually got married on Saturday 4th August but I'm always late in showing you the cards that I make so what's new?!

So, our closest friends decided to tie the knot and I decided I'd jump in the deep end as well and create my first Digital stamp.  It's not for sale yet but as I wanted to share the card I made for the wedding I thought I needed to tell you that the image is mine!!

Here is the card I made for them..

The card base is Kraft card and the papers I used are all from my Wishes & Kisses CD ROM the 'It's the Big Day' collection available on our website www.funkyhand.com right now!

Here's a close up of the digital stamp which I coloured using Promarkers...

The heart is a chipboard one that I have had forever in my stash. I covered it with a paper from the matching collection, sanded the edges to make the paper smooth and then inked it with a little black ink pad.  The tied twine was a last minute thought that I think matched the kraft look of the card. It also made it very different from all the other cards that they received on the day!

We had a wonderful day at the wedding, Ian was the best man and both Ian and I were their witnesses which was a great honor.  Of course I cried, which I was told off by Vic the Bride for, but you have to cry at weddings right? Especially your friends.  I haven't got a decent picture of Ian and I at the wedding just yet, I wore a really big hat which I hired.  Once I get one I'll share it with you I promise.  So you'll have to just put up with the Bride and Groom after they were married..sniff sniff..

Right, I'll be back soon with details of what we will be offering you over the Bank Holiday weekend on the website so not such a big gap in my Blogging next time!

Speak again very soon
