Wedding card and apologies..

Ok I'll start with the apology.  I'm sorry that I haven't had a chance to work my way through all of the applications to join my Design Team.  I'm not going to bore you with all the reasons why I'm so busy at the moment (new CD!) but I wanted to say that I will be in touch with everyone who took the time to apply shortly and then announce my new DT members.  I actually want to blame everyone who applied, you have all been so good it's taking me a long time to decide as I can't fit you all in :(  Right on to my latest bit of crafting..

One of my friends, Helen, got married recently on a beautiful beach so, the wedding 'Do' for all of us back here in Newcastle was last weekend.  We had a great time and the Bride looked beautiful in her wedding dress.  I made a wedding card using stamps that I haven't had out for literally years!!

The base card is one of the kraft cards that I purchased from Handy Hippo a few weeks ago and the backing paper is from my Happy Happy Birthday craft CD ROM. The wedding cake stamp is a Hampton Arts clear stamp that I have had for years and NEVER used before!  The Love sentiment stamp was from a large set of wooden stamps I bought when I was on holiday in the US many years ago and I 'happened' across a Michaels craft store. If I remember correctly I nearly spent all the holiday money there!  I did a tiny bit of colouring of the roses on the wedding cake and outlined the image with promarkers.

To finish it off I added a love heart pin to the ribbon and it was finished.

So, there's my little bit of crafting fitted in last weekend.  I can't wait to have time to really get some crafting done.  I'm afraid when you are working on a new CD and it's getting close to completion and ready for the manufacturers thats all you can focus on.  But soon I will be able to start crafting with it and I wont feel naughty as I have to make samples !!

Speak again very soon with details of our new Funky Hand Design Team Members.
