March is a birthday month around here!

The end of March is a busy card making time in the Garden Studio as Ian and my Brother Gary have birthdays one day apart.  I thought I would share the card that I made, rather quickly I'm ashamed to say, for Ians birthday on the 26th.

I made it using my craft CD Happy Happy Birthday.  I printed the backing paper, from the Surprize Collection, and images and sentiment directly onto a piece of A4 card and created this A5 card.  I used the coloured versions of the digital stamps of the computer and the numbers 41, which I layered on the screen of the computer image.  Once I'd printed it all off I added a bit of extra colour to the computer keyboard using a silver Sakura pen and added yellow Sakura glaze pen to the number one and more glitter to the number 4 stars!

To finish it off I used a couple of brads that you can attach ribbon etc onto and threaded some simple twine through them and tied a knot at the front.

It's a simple and quick to make card but, it still was personalised just for Ian.  He liked it as it has a computer on it and of course he's a computer geek!

Before I go I wanted to remind you that the Get Funky Challenge is still in full swing so get yourselves over to the blog and take a look at the really fab creations the Design Team have been making this month..then join in and have a chance to win a Funky Hand download collection of your choice.  Don't forget there's a Funky Freebie on my website www.funkyhand.com to get you started.

Another reason to grab the Funky Freebie this month is that is matches in with the papers that have just been released in my Spring Has Sprung download collection so an extra paper for that collection for free!  Be quick though as the freebie backing paper is only available until 14th April.

Speak again very soon.
