Daring Card Makers Challenge

Well, when I made this baby card yesterday I didn't think I would get lucky and be able to tie it in with this weeks Daring Card Makers challenge. One of Ians oldest friends had her first baby a couple of days ago so I made this card ready to get it to her for when she arrives home with her new little bundle of joy!

The Daring Card Makers dare this week is from Sue:

For my dare this week I would like you to make a card that incorporates beads somewhere in the design…..it’s as easy as that!
It can be one bead, lots of beads, big beads, and small beads, whatever you like as long as there’s at least one on your card somewhere.

The beads on my card are small pearl beads in the wire curls attaching the button to the card. The papers I used are from the Baby Collection on my CD V Funky. I cut the Baby wording out using Photoshop and printed the mottled pink paper design directly onto white card to make the base card. The image is not that great as the light here wasn't great for taking photos. There are also some words on the card in white all mixed up Doodlebug rub ons that say Hello (BABY) Daisy.. that's the little girls name!!

Life here at Funky Hand Towers doesn't get any quieter so I am certainly looking forward to this weekend when I am taking a trip to see my parents..I haven't seen then since February when we in Birmingham for the Stitches Trade Exhibition! I can't believe the time has gone by so fast. It will be nice to be looked after by my Mom and be away from this computer for at least a little while..then again I will be taking the laptop with me because I can't stay away for too long!!

Right fun over..I had best get back to work. If you can believe it I am having to think about Christmas already..arrggg it's only May, but I was informed yesterday that Christmas starts in August and I need to be prepared. How can I get inspired for Winter themed papers when the sun has only just started shining here in Newcastle for this year!!
