Back so soon! I have been having trouble with my scanner so I had to wait to put my card up for the Daring Card Makers Card challenge this week.I'm afraid it's not a great scan, the white blur on the side is actually satin ribbon! I have combined the need to make Ians Mother a birthday card and the challenge which was 'Your card can be any theme you like, just as long as it's got something you'd find in a Haberdashery Department on it'
This card has a paper from my third CD It's Funky Too which has a fabric look to it. I used a Prima flower with a Papermania Button at its centre. The ribbon is a left over from a gift I received recently beautifully wrapped with real ribbon. The three stitches are the first sewing I have done since I was about ten (seriously!) hence they are not very straight! The sentiment is from DCWV Chipboard sticker stack, Pocket full of Posies. Off to make an insert for this card now to cover up the terrible stitching mess inside before sending it to Ians Mom!!!

  8. It's a lovely card Anice - well done on getting that needle out again - I sew regularly and my stitches are still wonky - I like to call it "characterful"!
