Funky Hand Towers is on the move..

I've been hinting for a while that I had things to tell you and I'm not very good at keeping secrets for very long so I thought I would tell you one of them...

I am moving into my first office! I am so excited I could burst, where I'll be based is a really cool collection of offices that are being developed in an old pottery forge just outside the centre of Newcastle. It is a really fabby community of media companies and designers so it will hopefully bring me lots of inspiration.(There is also a wonderful cafe based in the old clock tower on site which I imagine wont be so good for my figure!!) My office should be finished at the beginning of December and I'll be moving all the Funky Hand business stuff over there during the month and be working full time out of it from January. Woo hoo! I'm so excited that the business has grown so much that I can't work from home any longer. I know I have all my wonderful customers to thank for that and I want you to know I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your support over the last couple of years.

As I mentioned earlier the offices are being built in a wonderful old pottery forge building so they have the most amazing old brickwork interiors, when the bricks have been sand blasted back to their orginal condition they are the most beautiful browns, oranges and reds..you just don't get bricks like them these days. But even though the forge is old the designs of the offices are very high tech.. We visited the site a couple of months ago and took some photos of where our office is going to be..the big white arrow is pointing at my office window!

The development has moved on somewhat from this picture of course and as soon as I have my hands on the keys I will share the pictures of my all new Funky Hand Towers.

The new CD is taking a little longer to perfect than we had originally thought but if something is worth doing it's worth doing properly so I'll hopefully be back very soon with a release date and a time when you can have a good look at it on Create and Craft TV.

We do have a few new things in the pipeline to share with you very soon..my poor design gang girls are working away getting fabby images of cards they've made with the new product so I'll be back to share all the details with you very soon.

Well, I'd best get back to making cards with the new CD, it's word books today so I'd best get printing!

Speak again very soon

  7. Congratulations! Can't wait to see the new office AND the new CD

Can I make a request please? I'm no longer able to stamp and colour in the usul way, and have difficulty finding toppers to go with your lovely background papers, so wondered if one of your great designers could design some no-stamp-required images - CD or downloads - that we can colour digitally to match?
