Holidays are over..back to work!

Well, I've been meaning to get here for a chat all week..but you know what it's like when you have been away for two weeks and you come home all relaxed and switch on the PC.. Arrgghh I've been up to my eyes with work catch up all week and so this is the first time I've had a chance to get here.

Ian and I haven't had a holiday that lasted more than a few days for years so when our good friends Andy and Vic asked us if we fancied trying out Andy's Dads newly purchased penthouse apartment in Mallorca for two weeks we couldn't really say no..now could we??! It is a beautiful place over looking a fab little harbor and even though I did still have to work for a little while every day (thank goodness for wireless internet connections!!) we had a totally wonderful time..

Whilst we were away I was very proud of Ian as he achieved something that he has wanted to do for as long as I have known him..he took his Scuba diving qualifications, so Ian can now officially scuba dive..



As I said though we were back to earth with a bump when we returned as it's as busy here in Funky Hand Towers as ever. Oh I wanted to let you know that I am presenting another live TV show tomorrow Monday 20th July on the Create and Craft Channel at 8am in the morning, it's all rather exciting as the Create and Craft Channel is now being shown not only on Sky Channel 671 but you can also watch shows each morning on Freeview Channel 22. I'll be presenting my latest craft CD Funky Word Books and showing you how to use it with a Bind it All machine so please join me if you can.. hopefully I'll be able to remember how to use the new Pink machine as I only own a Blue one.. you had best watch it might be good for a laugh!!

Once my Create and Craft shows are over this week I am full steam ahead with getting my fab Funky Hand Design Gangs Challenge Blog 'Get Funky' ready for the big launch on the 1st August. We are all very excited about bringing you this new monthly challenge blog with Funky Hand freebies and a big prize every month. I'll be back later in the week with more details of where you can find us and join in.
