New Wordbook Download 'Retro Fun'

I know it's been a while so I thought it might be nice to release a new Wordbook download to welcome spring (hopefully!) Retro Fun Wordbook download has all the usual letters and numbers papes and 7 A4 matching papers to print out as well.  It's a pretty bright colour pallet and the papers have been inspired by some fab 60's images that I saw a while back.  Hopefully they will be just what you are looking for to make some bright and breezy cards and wordbooks that will blow away all those Winter cobwebs.  My DT have all loved working with it and you can see some of their creations on the gallery on the Retro Fun page in the gallery.

I've so much to tell you that I will be back in the next few days to update you on my Barbados holiday and about when my Original Workbox arrived last week and the 'fun' we had putting it together!

Don't go forgetting those Mothers Day cards...

..Or leave them to the very last moment like I have!  Here I am again making excuses for not having handmade cards all ready for occassions that I know are going to happen.  It's amazing once you work in the craft industry you get less time to craft..It's just not right!!

Anyway here is a picture of the cards that I have thrown (!) together for my Mom and Ian's Mom this afternoon...

I've used images from Dreams Come True CD for the papers and the Digi stamps for the toppers.  Now off you go and get your cards made or gloat that you had yours done ages ago!!

Create & Craft TV time again!

 

See me again Saturday 6th March at 11am on the Create and Craft channel along with Leone as my presenter looking at my latest CD rom release Dreams Come True.  This CD seems to have really got your crafty mojos on fire as I have had loads of wonderful messages and images of items  (mainly Work Books!) that customers have been inspired to create.  The word book generator on this CD is proving to be a big hit giving you all the choices that you have been asking me for since I released the Funky Word Books CD last year.  Now you can choose the combinations of papers and letter colour for each of your pages..not just have to put up with my choices!!  

I am working away at the moment on the next CD release so I'll be back to keep you updated on my progress.

Now I'm off to make a cup of tea for Corrina and I as we are gasping here in Teapot Studios! Hope you can watch the show Saturday and email in when we are on air in so I don't feel like no ones watching!!

Get Funky! March Challenge

Can you believe we are into March already..it only seems a few weeks ago that we were welcoming 2010 in!!  Maybe it's just me getting old!
Well, it's the first of March so that means a brand new Challenge on my Design Teams Blog, Get Funky!  Thank you to everyone who joined in with my challenge last month and congratulations to our winners! Here is my entry for this month.. 

 

I went for a 12" x 12" scrapbook page just for a change.  The picture is of Corrina, my Business Admin Managers, little sweeties ..

 

 

I even did some sewing on this one, I hope you have noticed my stitched swirl..if you don't know..sewing is not my big talent, but I do try sometimes !  Here's a close up of the message on the page as it's not that easy to see on the main picture (my own fault for leaving everything to the last min as usual and having to take the pictures in Teapot Studios after it had gone dark..so forgive the poor quality please!)

 

The papers I used on the page are from my Dreams Come True CD which, I must say has received a wonderful reaction since it's release on 16th January.  Thank you all for making it such a success for us.

Walk like an Egyptian.. oh dear!

As I haven't had a minute to be here so far this week . Which I'm very sorry for, it's just full steam ahead here at Teapot Studios at the moment and I hardly know whether I'm coming or going! I thought I would just quickly give you all a little laugh with a picture of myself and Ian at my Uncles recent "Egyptian" themed birthday party.. we dressed up for the occasion as you can see!!

I thought I made quite a good Cleopatra until I saw the state of me on this photo!! Anyway, we had a fab night eating and drinking eastern style food and drink, great fun was had by all, as it always is when we visit my mad family!! 

On the Funky Hand front, at the moment I am working away on designing for the next CD release and there will be a new download collection available in the near future to keep you going as well !

Sweetheart word book - a closer look!

I thought I might give you a bit of a closer look at the Sweetheart word book that I demonstrated on Create and Craft last weekend.  It was made with the Delightful Fun Collection from my latest CD release Dreams Come True.  

I know Valentines Day is on it's way and I thought that this card would be perfect to send to a chap..a bit of pink etc but not too girly especially as I used the black ribbons to join it all together.

 

I didn't get a chance to demo any of the other cards I'd prepared on the show but I might share them with you at a later date if I don't use them in the future.

I'm working away at the moment starting to design the papers for the next CD release.  So keep your eyes peeled in a few months to see what I've come up with this time!

Create and Craft TV Saturday 11am show

Hello again, this is just a very quick post to let you know that if you would like a closer look at our brand new craft CD release Dreams Come True, I will be showcasing it again on the Create and Craft channel tomorrow Saturday 6th Feb at 11am.  Hopefully you can join me and see some of the wonderful demo cards that my Design Team have made using the disc. They have made some fantastic things and I hope I'll get a bit more time to share them with viewers on this show.
Now I have to be off to get ready for the really dull 3 1/2 hour drive to Peterborough...

Get Funky Challenge for February

Another month has flown by and here we are in Feb..so it's time for a new challenge over at the Get Funky! Challenge Blog. Thank you to everyone who joined in with Lythans great challenge last month I know she had a hard time picking a winner.

I have to admit that I have been a bit busy in January with the release of our new CD Dreams Come True, moving into my lovely brand new Teapot Studio offices, becoming an employer and doing two TV shows for Ideal Word in less than a week so.. my entry into this months challenge,which by the way is a nice open theme just I Love Crafting and you can make anything you like at all, is a little bit of a cheat (hehe!)  Corrina my new office manager 'doesn't craft' but she was tempted this week when one of her close friends had a beautiful baby girl.  So I helped her, just a little bit to create this word book using the word book generator from Dreams Come True...

 

I'm really proud of her first go at crafting properly and now I think she has to admit that she could be drawn into enjoying making things..hahaha, I knew she couldn't be surounded by my stash for that long and not get drawn in!!
